The King’s Ambassadors is a group of successful Black business owners who commit their time, talents, and treasures to the work of Growing Kings. The Ambassadors afford our organization the opportunity to tap into their wisdom and learn from their experiences as we continue on a track of transforming the minds of hundreds of at-risk male youth throughout Birmingham, AL. The King’s Ambassadors are representative of business leaders who have a desire and capacity to empower our students by influencing the resources needed to continue our effectiveness, as we work to build capacity and sustainability.
The primary responsibilities of a King’s Ambassador are to provide greater exposure opportunities, funding resources, and management advice about the direction the company should follow. The highly respected group is also responsible for hosting the annual State of the Black Male Summit that takes place in March of each year. The summit engages over 700 male youth.
