Celebration Luncheon
Growing Kings’ Celebration Luncheon presented by Altec was held on Friday, August 26, 2016 at “Birmingham’s most beautiful building,” The Florentine.
The Celebration Luncheon was utilized as a platform to recognize the impact of the 2015-16 school year as well as engage stakeholders and members of community organizations and the philanthropic community.
The highlight of the event was guest speaker and founder of Harlem Children’s Zone, Dr. Geoffrey Canada. Dr. Canada delivered the keynote speech on effective frameworks of achievement and significance within the lives urban male youth.
